This is basically a call to respond. I'm going to be creating a survey soon on the issues that project managers face when managing agile projects remotely. However, I'd like to hear from my readers now on their thoughts on this topic. Have you managed an agile project remotely? Have you utilized a completely or mostly geographically dispersed team on an agile project? What struggles did you face? What failures did you encounter? Was it more difficult than managing a waterfall project remotely? How and why? Not much has been written on this topic so I'm looking forward to your responses. Thanks in advance! 1 Comment I just received notice today that my blog - yes, this blog - was named to the Agile Top 200 Blogs for 2011. I'm not sure about all of the ranking criteria, but I ended up #130 on the list of 200. Click on the badge at the right for a link to the full list. I was planning on attending the Better Software Conference & Agile Development Practices Conference today or tomorrow at Caesar's Palace here in Las Vegas. However, a turn of events is making it unlikely that I will be able to make it. What I'm looking for is feedback from developers and project personnel on the Agile development process, how many of you are part of an organization that enlists in that type of development process and how successful you've found it to be. Particularly I'm interested in how it affects project management and whether those Agile projects are easier or more difficult to manage. Please chime in here with feedback comments if you can, or you can send info through my contact link on the left or send me a direct email. Thanks! | Click to set custom HTML
