In my next “5 Reasons Why” installment, I am reviewing 5 reasons why you should be trying Eylean Board for your project management oversight needs. Eylean is a Scrum and Kanban desktop software that integrates very easily and seamlessly into the Office tools and TFS from Microsoft product family.

Here are 5 reasons you should try it...

Visualization. One of the first things that stands out with Eylean is the visualization. It is common for projects to have a lot of information which becomes difficult to visualize as the projects grow larger. However Eylean does this with ease - the board never looks packed, but at the same time holds all the important information and updates on the progress. Various icons, colors and alerts make information sharing easy and quick.

Modification. No matter your processes or job specificity, Eylean made sure it is right for everyone. By allowing teams to modify the task board structure, they created an opportunity to create the exact replica of your current process and not the other way around. So instead of having to learn and adopt to another new tool, you can focus on what’s important – the work.

Agile. I’m sure you have been touched by the recent Agile craze. The good news with this tool is that they are way ahead of you. Scrum, Kanban and other Agile applications can not only be implemented, but already have predesigned templates for you to use. This means you can start in minutes and take full advantage from moving away from sticky notes.

Ability to stay Offline. While moving towards accessibility, we start lacking the ability to choose to stay offline. Whether it is for security, confidentiality or data sensitivity reasons, with Eylean you can do just that. Use the tool on premise or host in your private servers to make sure all of the data is safe and in your hands.

Integration with TFS. Eylean comes from the hands of developers and there is no surprise it offers one of the best project management integrations with Team Foundation Server. This two-way integration allows simultaneous work on both systems and makes this software creation tool not only easier to use, but also more non-developer friendly. Expanding it with additional fields, functionality and reports.

One more alternative to be considered Krosswall ( http://www.krosswall.com ). It’s design to bridging the GAP between Agile in THEORY and Agile in IMPLEMENTATION.
