In this next installment of my “5 Reasons Why…” software review series, I want to take a look at 5 reasons why you need to check out ProWorkflow as your next project management software solution.  Many PM solutions claim to be easy to use, quick to adopt, and ready to serve in terms of excellent tech support…only to disappoint in terms of features, flexibility and overall end-to-end engagement oversight.  Not ProWorkflow.  It truly is the full-featured solution you need and are likely looking for.

I tested ProWorkflow out on a portion of one of my current projects in parallel with the other tool I was using (a tool that shall remain nameless for now) and I found that I was using the wrong tool…ProWorkflow did a better job at meeting my collaboration and task management needs.  Let’s look at 5 reasons why you should be looking at ProWorkflow for your PM solution…

Flexibility.  ProWorkflow is a flexible system for any type of user from simple to complex across many industries.  You don’t have to be a fortune 500 company to be able to use or afford ProWorkflow, but it would suit them just fine as well. The ease of setup and the help from the incredible staff makes the experience all the more worthwhile. They have clients from various industries (Large corporate to dog walkers), the team have good industry knowledge and can work with you to firstly see if it will fit with your processes, but secondly they will be up front if they are not the right fit for you, this is rare in such a competitive industry. Just give it a try to see for yourself.

Not just project management.  You can use ProWorkflow to manage customer’s projects from sales requests, quoting, invoicing, management of the project itself, file management and detailed reporting, all with a dashboard that makes it easy to keep a track of the core of your business on one page. You can get your clients and contractors on board using ProWorkflow without incurring additional license costs as well. All this works in a seamless flow adding further to the streamlining and value of your business.

Integration.  ProWorkflow can easily integrate with Xero and QuickBooks among others. What is really interesting though is their new App Store which I have had a sneak peek at, this is due for imminent release and means that a whole host of new features will be available without them overcomplicating the core system. So if you have ever though “I wish my project management system could do (Insert wish list)” then it will be worth a look at ProWorkflow and having a chat to their team.

Interactive Gantt Charts and Collaboration.  With dependencies and the ability to manage task start dates straight from the Gantt charts, it makes managing the inevitable change of projects a breeze. ProWorkflow has coupled this with a powerful in-built communication tool, which enables you to keep all project stakeholders informed on the project progress at all times. This is not only between the project manager and his team, but with the client as well. The tool allows you to send messages with file attachments, make it public or private, email or onscreen, and respond at the click of a button. With several additional features like message notification alerts, recording messages and threaded messages, ProWorkflow resourcefully enables all stakeholders involved to keep track of the project at all times.

User support.  The ProWorkflow solution comes with world-class support.  I’ve not had enough experience with the product to know for sure myself, but the testimonials online certainly support that stance.  One satisfied customer states, “I just wanted to let you know that we are very impressed with your support and customer service. It is so incredibly nice to work with a company who actually cares about its customers.”  Another states, “I have to mention the outstanding customer support from Sam, Julian, Alan, and their team. Their response time is generally within an hour, and more often than not they’ve solved the issue before they get back in touch. It’s so refreshing to have a company say, “We took care of it” instead of, “… so, what’s the problem again?”
