I hate having to break up arguments among my kids so you know I’m definitely not a big fan of getting in the middle of team member battles. On one project, our full team had converged on the client’s site for two weeks of extreme issue resolution and were on our way back from dinner together. The business analyst on our team sent a romantic text message on his phone to his significant other only to realize he had accidentally sent it to the wrong contact — our technical lead on the project who was sitting in the seat behind him. No conflict resolution needed there…just some very good loud laughs had by all and a very embarrassed BA. Those are the kind of team issues that I like to see happening. The drama stuff… not so much. But, unfortunately, conflicts do come up and we must deal with them proactively before they tear our creative team apart...
