What does a business analyst do? What does a business analyst bring to the table? Well, I'm a project manager and I think the business analyst is a more valuable member of the project team than the project manager. If one individual had to cover both roles, then I believe in most cases the business analyst would be more successful at it. I'm doubt that I'm alone in that feeling but I've also been lucky enough to have had some pretty good business analysts on my teams long the way.
