While skipping a commute saves workers about an hour a day, changing grooming habits have tacked on another ten minutes. 73% of respondents reported showering each day when working from home, while over 85% reported showering when traveling into the office. Even fewer people are swiping on deodorant (71%), shaving (40%) and putting on makeup (27%) while working from home.
What are remote workers doing with that extra time? They’re spending half of it at their desks, cementing the trend of higher productivity amid the pandemic, and the other half on leisure activities like enjoying hobbies or spending time with family.
