If you’re a fan at all of Monty Python, then you know the skit. It takes place in a travel agency and Eric Idle is Mr. Smoketoomuch while Michael Palin plays the role of an employee named Mr. Bounder (Bounder of Adventure). Idle’s character goes on and on and Palin’s character keeps telling him to “please be quiet” and he does this with greater and greater loudness and frequency as the skit goes on…to no avail.
